IPL T20 Cricket Comes Back to India!

cricketIndian Premier League (IPL), the world’s richest cricketing event, is an annual that usually takes place, not surprisingly, in India, though last year was an exception as it was hosted in South Africa. The league consists of eight teams from all over the country:

  • Mumbai Indians
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore
  • Chennai Super Kings
  • Deccan Chargers
  • Kolkata Knight Riders
  • Delhi Daredevils
  • Kings XI Punjab
  • Rajasthan Royals

You cannot afford to miss the action…on or off the field. There is a spectacular display of talent to watch from the West Indies to Australlia, from South Africa to Srilanka, From England to New Zealand. The best from each country participate in this cricketing event. Some names that feature this year are Shane Warne, Virendar Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Adam Gilchrist, Wayne Parnell, Shane Bond and Jacques Kallis.

When there is action can the world of glitz and glamour be far behind! There are Bollywood and international cheerleaders to not only support the teams but to add cheer on the field as well. You would get to see the likes of Bollywood stars. After all, they do hold a stake in it. Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are with Kolkata Night Riders, while Shilpa Shetty is with Rajasthan Royals. Each event is nothing short of a carnival and must see while you are in India. You can get the entire schedule from IPL T20 fixtures.
