The 9th Philippine Travel Exchange (PHITEX 2009) will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on September 2-4, 2009, with the theme “Explore, Experience …….. The Philippines is made to be traveled”.
The event, which is organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation (PCVC), brings together travel professionals for a marketing push designed to promote the country’s image and tourism opportunities. The Travel Exchange (TRAVEX), in particular, features tours and meetings between Philippine-based tourism companies and international buyers.
