Two Great Websites For Finding Travel Deals
There are tons of websites out there that claim to find the best deals on the internet, but which ones really find the best deals? Here are two of my favorites!
What I love about Kayak is that it searches hundreds of the other sites out there to find the best travel deals on the internet! For example, a quick flight search reveals prices from Orbitz, CheapTickets, and the airline’s website. You can also compare rates from Priceline, Expedia, Travelocity, and Hotwire. All in one place. If you sign up for a (free) membership, you can also see prices for travel within certain dates (+/- up to 3 days).
You can book flights, hotels, cruises, cars, and even complete vacations with the click of a button!
I recently looked into Travelzoo through a recommendation from a friend, and instantly fell in love. Travelzoo is a site that is dedicated to travel deals. Their website features “Today’s Top Deals” with sales such as $59 Virgin America fare sales and 40% rates at a Hilton Waterfront Resort in Daytona Beach, FL (deals change daily).
My favorite feature of this site is the “Top 20 Weekly Travel Deals” which are amazing deals that you can check out on the website, or sign up with your email address and have them delivered to your inbox each week. This week’s deals include 6 nights in Paris incl. air (usually from New York) for $749, and a Palm Springs Resort with upgrade for just $95/night (regularly $300/night).
Travelzoo also sends out occasional special sales based on the area in which you live, such as $9 flights (yes, $9, that’s not a typo!) to/from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Even if you never sign up for newsletters, this one is worth it. Trust me!
