Wednesday, June 9 — Wild Olives by Todd English in Boca has added Chenzo Balsamo to their Wednesday night line-up. Balsamo, a seasoned performer who has performed for many noteworthy people ranging from the Sinatra Family and Donald Trump, will add singing combined with the sounds of piano and guitar music to this popular Boca restaurant. Guests are encouraged to dance to the sounds, as he performs songs from Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder. Friday, June 11 — The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove’s Amadeus Bar stirs things up for the World Cup. The bar will be transformed into an international environment where soccer fans can cheer on their favorite team. The lounge will be filled with multiple flat screens, and either complimentary continental breakfast buffet or bar bites (depending on the time of the day). Plus, the lounge area will be filled with beers from around the world. The event takes place from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and costs $15 per person. Valet will be reduced to $7. The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove is located at 2700 Tigertail Ave, Coconut Grove.
Friday, June 11 — Four Seasons Palm Beach is celebrating World Oceans Day with a wine dinner to benefit Slow Food Glades to Coast. This 3-course seafood dinner with wine pairings will feature specials like Butter Poached Wild East Coast Florida Shrimp with braised baby vegetables and lobster consomme and Seared Florida Keys Yellowtail Snapper with marinated fava beans and shaved fennel. Saturday June 12 — Saturday is the perfect time to dine out so why not take advantage of the restaurant deals. It’s Coral Gables Restaurant Week and Palm Beach Restaurant Summer, with both offering killer deals. Check with your favorite restaurant to see if they are participating.
Saturday, June 12 — Strip down, slather yourself with body paint, grab a bike, protest the overuse of oil and join the other participants for Miami’s World Naked Bike Ride. The ride starts at 4:30 p.m. You’re in for a ride of your lifetime.
