January 15-20 — Enjoy the best of contemporary art, photography, video, sculpture and design at the 13th Anniversary of Art Palm Beach. This year’s event is taking place at Palm Beach Convention Center, 6500 Okeechobee Blvd from noon until 7:00 pm. (6:00pm on the 19th) Enjoy lectures, interactive discussions, book signings and the many exhibits. Cost is $15 for a 1-day pass, $20 for a multi-day pass.

Sat., January 16Feelgood’s Rock Bar & Grill is celebrating their 2-year anniversary with a free street party featuring rock legend (and co-owner), Vince Neil. This event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 16 starting at 4:00 pm at the 200 block of Clematis Street.

Sat. and Sun., January 16-17 — If you’ve been yearning to try Hakassan, why not try out their new Dim Sum menu? Offered on Saturdays and Sundays between noon and 3:00 pm, this is Dim Sum fit for the kings. Hakasan is located at at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, 4441 Collins Ave, Miami Beach.

Mon, January 18 — Make your way down to Harriet Himmel Theatre in CityPlace for a feast of your tastebuds. Enjoy gourmet delights from the top chefs in the area at Taste of Compassion, while helping to raise money for the Quantum House. Cost is $75 in advance, $125 for VIP.

Tues., January 19 — A Neighborhood Art Stroll will take place at The Whitney Condominium on Tuesday, Jan. 19. This party will include the work of Ibrahim Miranda, Joan Roberto Diago, collage artist Bruce Helander, Painter, Olga Suarez and more. Guests will also enjoy a taste from the local restaurants including Leila, Don Ramon and Cafe Centro. Cost is $10 and will go to beneift the Tri-County Humane Society. RSVP to Altima at 561.833.8283.

Tues., January 19Texas de Brazil in Miami Beach is hosting a 3-course Scotch Dinner on Tuesday, January 19. Enjoy a Mache Salad with Pan-Seared Goat Cheese and Figs, a selection of Texas de Brazil’s famous meats and a Triple Layer Chocolate Mousse Cake. Each course will be paired with a different scotch. Dinner starts at 7:00 pm and costs $85/person. Texas de Brazil is located at 300 Alton Road in Miami Beach. Reservations are required.
