National Ballet of Spain is visiting St. Petersburg next week with its two shows: Dualia. La Leyenda and Elegia. Homenaje. El Cafe de Chinitas. The dancers are playing at the stage of the Mariinsky theater.
Specialists say that the main features of the National Ballet of Spain founded 30 years ago are love to national dances and at the same time an interest to modern styles. This combination creates an unique style of the troupe headed by world-known dancer and choreographer Jose Antonio who is going to retire soon.
The ballet has won many prizes at different festivals and can be considered as one of the leading troupes in the world.
Elegia. Homenaje. El Cafe de Chinitas will be played on July 14 and 15, and Dualia. La Leyenda on July, 17 and 18.
The shows start at 20.00 Address: Mariinsky Theater, Teatralnaya Square, 1 (Theater Square).
There are very few cheap tickets left if the word “cheap” can be applied to the Mariinsky theater of course. For July 18 I was able to find only one ticket for 960 rubles (full price for non-Russians). At the balkon. Ups.
