San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker planned to play for the French national team this summer in hopes of helping France qualify for the 2009 European Championship. However, in France’s first exhibition game, Parker suffered an ankle injury.

Spurs Down 3-1 to Mavericks
After a loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, the San Antonio Spurs are now facing a first round playoff elimination. Point guard Tony Parker had an incredible performance in Game 4 with 43 points (18-29 FG) but it wasn’t enough as the Mavs came away with a 99-90 victory on their home floor.

Catch a Spurs Game
If you are planning a trip to San Antonio, you should consider catching a Spurs game while you are in town. The Spurs are always competitive year in and year out with their three stars, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.
