San Antonio River Walk
Along the banks of the San Antonio River, you will find one of the city’s biggest tourist attractions — the san antonio river walk. Since the early 1950s, locals and tourists have strolled along the River Walk enjoying the scenery, the shops, restaurants, nightclubs and hotels along the way. The san antonio river walk extends about 2 1/2 miles and attracts millions of visitors each year. If you don’t want to walk, you can also take a river taxi down the river to get to your destination.
