I know that there are no such words to speak more about a photographer than his works, but my task here is to give you’re the picture of what you can see at the State Centre of photography between April,3 and May,31. This time period here there is an exhibition of Mona Breede under the name “The Choreographed City”. The artist collected her urban pictures to show us the “breath” of a city, or of a City, this phenomenon of the modern world.
From the official description: “Mona Breede’s...

Bondi offers much more than sun, surf, and sand for beach bunnies. Yoga classes also run on the water’s edge. What better way to get into a tranquil headspace than to commune with nature and listen to the waves lapping the shore? This awesome phone catches some yoga lovers in the rather unflattering downward-facing dog pose.

With Valentine’s Day less than a month away my husband and I are already thinking about where to spend the special night. Sydney’s just got so many spots to choose from! But we’ve decided to head away from the hustle and bustle and visit the Hawkesbury River on the city’s outskirts. With a view like this, do you even have to ask why? There are plenty of restaurants by the water’s edge, so now we just have to pick one!

... right up there with blowflies and jellyfish. They’re noisy and demanding, especially if you’re eating hot chips. But then I see a photo like this one, and I think maybe seagulls aren’t that bad after all. Sure, when they’re photographed you can’t hear them squawking. But doesn’t this bird look so serene? Maybe I’ll give seagulls a chance this year after all.

I seem to have a pattern of posting beach pictures whenever the mercury rises. Looking longingly at images of surfers cutting through the waves doesn’t necessarily make me any cooler, but I can’t seem to help myself. This beauty was taken at Dee Why.
