Most beer festivals just highlight beer. At the end of May, though, Greenwich wll be going one better, and adding jazz music to the mix.

San Isidro Festival in Madrid

An exciting range of festivities will be taking place through out Madrid: from open-air concerts to traditional dances, urban music festival and parades of gigantes y cabezudos. OutJazz, Sunday Jazz sessions at the parks

Once more, OutJazz will be bringing music to everyone, gathering people at some of the most interesting parks in Lisbon.
During 5 months, from May to September, jazz will take over a main garden in the city, a different one each month. The music will play at the sound of nature, in the open air.

As summer lurks around the corner, music festivals are popping up all over the country, one of which is the Cultura Urbana. The biggest international hiphop festival in Spain, Cultura Urbana, will be stirring up quite a storm in Madrid come 15th May. Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year, and here in Niagara, we have a unique way of celebrating it: drumming down the sun. This event has been going on for 10 years, and it will continue this year on June 21st, starting at 8pm. This is a really neat community event, where people of all ages gather with drums and noise makers, and sing and dance their hearts out as the sun slowly sets over Lake Ontario.
