Spring Training Package at Hotel Valley HO
How many places can claim that they’ve hosted Natalie Woods and Robert Wagner’s 1957 wedding reception, had Jimmy Durante play their lobby bar piano or accommodated Zsa Zsa Gabor as she rode horses around their property? Today, Hotel Valley Ho is still a playground for the Hollywood elite but also a funky, trendy spot in Old Town Scottsdale that has something for everyone. And if you’re a baseball fan there’s no other place to enjoy Spring Training.
Hotel Valley Ho is offering a special...

When the opportunity to visit the Hotel Novotel in Amsterdam came up, I jumped at the chance to not only stay but to attend the Grand Re-Opening event. A Quiet Retreat on Mayne Island: The Blue Vista Resort
The quiet beauty of Mayne Island, located in the Strait of Georgia on Active Pass, has always been a great attraction to my writer’s group, the Scribblers, and last weekend, after a couple of years absence, we eagerly returned to the island and the resort where we have always stayed. With the warm welcome we received from the new owners, it was a real ‘homecoming’. The Blue Vista Resort is situated among towering firs with a glimpse of the ocean. Deer often come to visit. ...

Greenwich Village’s Abingdon Guest House
In case you haven’t already noticed, I like to steer folks to unique lodging offerings here in NYC. The big landmark hotels, while superb in their own right, often don’t reflect their neighborhood’s street level character. Staying in ultra posh digs isn’t likely to immerse you in what it’s like to live in “non-tourist” New York complete with local-favorite coffee shops and off-the-radar art galleries.

A Budget Suite in New Delhi
The cost of hotel suites worldwide vary from expensive to very expensive. Delhi is no exception. You can expect to pay anywhere between $400 (Rs. 16000) to…well…the sky’s the limit. The budget suites are located at Tanish Regency in Dwarka, New Delhi and the cost, now brace yourself, is under $ 100 (Rs. 4000). Tanish Regency is a new, budget hotel in New Delhi.

Best Bet: Boston Hotel and Red Sox Ticket Packages
Don’t strike-out and miss the opportunity to see the Red Sox play at Fenway Park during your visit to Boston. It is extremely difficult to score tickets to a Red Sox game, local fans buy up their seats in the winter, and ticketless die-hards are known to wait for hours at Gate E for the chance to buy a standing room only or obstructed view game-day ticket. Of course, these are all deep-pocket hotel and baseball packages . But we are talking about seeing the Red Sox play at historic Fenway...
