Ride the Train in Chicago with Santa

Want to ride the train with Santa and his elves? Starting this week the popular Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Holiday Train is back in operation with holiday lights, candy canes and visits from Santa.
Operating during the day and at night, the six-car Holiday Train is decorated with “thousands of twinkling lights” that shape the train, its windows and also its top.

... The Fairmont Olympic Hotel (411 University Street, downtown) is one of my favorite places during the holiday season. They have lots of Holiday events for all ages, and the hotel is beautifully decorated.
