... Sunday to experience a true “arraial”, with a modern approach. “Arraial” is our traditional festivities of this month and generaly include music, dancing, sardines and obviously beer and wine.
Mouraria is one of the most traditional neighbourhoods in Lisbon. They set an unobvious arraial with world gastronomy and world music.

Argentina´s Bicentennial Celebration
... the national government has designed the Bicentennial Walk, that will be put up on Avenida 9 de Julio, between avenida Corrientes and Belgrano. The festivities will be held on May 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25.
The presidents of Uruguay, Jose Mujica; Chile, Sebastián Piñera, Venezuela, Hugo Chavez; Ecuador, Rafael Correa, and probably the Brazilian president Inacio Lula da Silva, will participate of the festivities.

Santo António Night – Street Party
In Portugal, as a traditionally religious country, we have many Saints. And so too many festivities related to the Saints. The best one in Lisbon will be held next Friday to Saturday, 12th to the 13th of June.
June is the month of Santos Populares (Popular Saints Feasts). Santo António was born in Alfama and his main feast day is the 13th June. 12th June, at the end of the day, Lisbon turns into a huge open air party.
