Lighting up the night sky at the Theresienweise is the soft glow of the green, blue and yellow lit tents under which tourists and city folk alike sit to enjoy musicians, international cuisine, drama groups and live performances. An absolute must of any visitor to Munich is the legendary Hofbräuhaus. Famous for its historical location and trachten (traditional Bavarian wear) clad staff who keep the beer flowing, the Hofbraühaus is where the tradition of Bavarian beer drinking is alive every day of the year. The large beer hall can seat hundreds with its long wooden tables and benches.
