Best New Place in Scotland: Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh
The annual Civic Trust awards have announced their latest winners, and Scotland has bagged two winning establishments. Besting other noteworthy entries such as the new University of Edinburgh Informatics Centre also in Edinburgh, the Missoni was noted for its “high quality” design, even though the build has remained a controversial addition to the Royal Mile.

Sydney Central YHA Named Best Backpacker Accommodation in Oz
