Spring Training Package at Hotel Valley HO
How many places can claim that they’ve hosted Natalie Woods and Robert Wagner’s 1957 wedding reception, had Jimmy Durante play their lobby bar piano or accommodated Zsa Zsa Gabor as she rode horses around their property? Today, Hotel Valley Ho is still a playground for the Hollywood elite but also a funky, trendy spot in Old Town Scottsdale that has something for everyone. And if you’re a baseball fan there’s no other place to enjoy Spring Training.
Hotel Valley Ho is offering a special package the Spring Training Package, which includes a Signature Guest Room, breakfast at ZuZu each morning of stay, VIP nightclub access, and a Westcor discount shopping book for Scottsdale Fashion Square – the largest mall in the Southwest. This package is valid for stays from February 27 to March 30, 2011, and rates start at $249 per night.
Less than a mile from Scottsdale Stadium, the venue for the San Francisco Giants, Hotel Valley Ho has been a resting stop for baseball players like Ted Williams and Bob Feller, and continues to welcome players and fans alike. To get to the stadium, jump on the Downtown Scottsdale trolley, which stops near the hotel, and transfer to the Giants shuttle or simply walk to one of the Giants shuttle stops. Hotel Valley Ho is also near the Phoenix Municipal Stadium, home to the Oakland A’s – less than two miles away.
And after a hard day at the game, baseball lovers can enjoy a Mai Tai at Trader Vic’s, Hotel Valley Ho’s Polynesian retreat. Happy hour can be enjoyed right after the game, Monday to Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sundays all evening long, starting at 4:00 p.m. There’s also live music every Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Centrally located in downtown Scottsdale, Hotel Valley Ho is near art galleries and boutiques. It’s the evolution of cool with a playful demeanor that makes a great getaway for any baseball fan.
