Romance is in the air, so fully embrace it this Valentine’s Day. Area chefs has been working hard to woo you in with their creative menu planning. Here are some of our favorites.

Valentine’s Day is not just for couples, so Cabo Flats is committed to celebrating with you however you may be. Singles wearing red will receive 1 free tequila shot. If you’re part of a couple, and you’re both wearing red, you will each receive a free margarita.

Bring some exotic flavors to your Valentine’s Day dinner with a candlelight dinner at Indus Indian & Herbal Cuisine. Indus, known for it’s intense flavors and aromatic curries is offering a special that you can’t resist. Enjoy your choice of 1 appetizer such as the Indus Paneer Chilli (Indian cottage cheese in a mild chili, ginger, garlic, and plum tomato sauce), 2 entrees like Chicken Vindaloo or Goat Biryani, and 1 dessert to share. We suggest their Gazar Halwa (Carrot-cooked with Cardamom and condensed milk; garnished with cashews and Kashmiri raisins). The cost of this dinner is $50++ per couple and comes with a complimentary bottle of Champagne.

While other restaurants may be offering extravagant menus, RA Sushi is offering something to just get you started. Guests will enjoy 2 glasses of Kizakura “Pure” Stars Sparkling Sake and a Fiery Lobster Roll made with lobster, cilantro, jalapeno, avocado and cucumber wrapped in pink soy paper and topped with tuna. The cost — $20.

The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach is offering something for everyone this year. Along with traditional dinner options, the Ritz is offering a Chocolate and Wine Bar for romance seekers. Available from February 12-14, this option is perfect for those seeking some post-dinner romance. Available from 7-11 pm, guests will enjoy decadent chocolates like Cappucino Whoopie Pies, Fudgy Cheesecake Bites, Peanut Brittle, a chocolate fondue and more.  Cost is $18 for the chocolate bar and wine flights start at $24.

Dine in style this Valentine’s Day at Verdea Restaurant & Wine Bar. This classy addition to PGA Blvd features the exquisite cuisine of Chef James King. For Valentine’s Day, Verdea will be offering a special 4-course dinner with wine pairings for $75++ per person. Guests will be greeted with a glass of Domain Ste. Michelle Sparkling Wine, and continue on to enjoy a delectable menu. Highlights include: Gulf Stream Cobia Ceviche with roasted corn, sweet potato and plantains; Crisped Skinned Duck Breast with confit beignets, pommelo, ice wine gelee and pomegranate jus; Persian Spiced Colorado Lamb Loin with oxtail cannelloni, fava bean flan and tomato chutney; and Warmed Chocolate Pudding Souffle Cake with compressed strawberries and fresh chantilly.
