Key West Food & Wine Festival
Heading to Florida, snowbirds? Consider going all the way south to the Key West Food & Wine Festival. It’s next week: January 27 through 30, 2011.
Events range from walk-around tastings during Key West’s famous sunset, to educational wine and food seminars led by local talent, to local funky events you would only expect to experience in Key West. Or elsewhere.
One of them? Sixteen French pastry chefs will arrive for three intense days of mixing, piping and sculpting everything from delicate chocolates to six-foot sugar sculptures as part of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France competition.
