Get Tangled Up With New Disney Characters
When a new Disney Studios animated feature is released, generally, that means a whole new set of Disney characters to fall in love with. This is exactly the case with the release of Walt Disney’s Tangled. Released nationwide just in time for the holidays, the film stars two of the newest Disney characters, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
Tangled is based on the story of Rapunzel, the young maiden locked away in a castle tower, while her long hair continued to grow to a great length, 70 feet to be exact. When the charming thief, Rider enters Rapunzel’s tower, she takes him hostage and plans to use him to plot her long-awaited escape. Together the two make quite a pair as they set off in an action packed adventure.
Fans of the feature will be thrilled to meet the heroine, Rapunzel and the handsome, but sly, Flynn, in person, at a new interactive character greeting. Known as a “play and greet”, the meeting takes place in Fairytale Garden, an enchanted courtyard at Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort (map).
Young guests can color personal keepsake pictures while waiting to meet the couple. In addition, guests will be invited to learn a traditional folk dance, as well as play games with the attendants of the castle court.
Two characters from the movie that fans have fallen in love with and will surely want to see in some form will be the two animal actors, Maximus, a horse, lead by duty, but learns of friendship and Pascal, the color changing chameleon, a constant and one true friend of Rapunzel.
Many have come away from the movie stating that Maximus is the true star of the show and some even think, steals the show. It will be interesting to see if Disney, includes these characters in any public appearances in the future.
