Christmas Shopping with a Conscience at The R.E.A.L Store

Christmas shopping is a necessary evil, but your dollar can do more than lining the pockets of corporate fat cats if you shop at The R.E.A.L Store.

There’s everything you need for treating family and friends, including clothing, jewellery, and other accessories, furniture and smaller homewares, stationery, and works of art. In many ways it seems like so many gift stores, but there’s a key difference here.hands

At least 10% of the money you spend at The R.E.A.L Store will benefit charities dear to the heart of store owner Virginia Bruce. These include the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation which does vital work educating indigenous children, NGO Save the Children which is working hard to help children who’ve lost their homes in the Congolese civil war, and Hands that Shape Humanity, a charity with the simple goal of helping people reach their potential. All products sold are also carefully selected to fit in with the store’s commitment to social change, ethical business practices, and sustainable living.

You’ve got to spend money over the Christmas period anyway, so why not spend it in a store that’s really doing good?
