The 24th Island-wide Christmas Crafts and Food Expo
There are plenty of great places to shop in Honolulu, but only a few times a year can you find only island-made goods under one roof. The Christmas season is the best time to shop for things made in Hawaii and a good place to start is the 24th Island-wide Christmas Crafts and Food Expo.
A wide variety of top quality products and merchandise at affordable prices are the hallmark of this event. Shoppers can select from thousands of items: lovely Christmas ornaments, decorated trees, wreaths and pins, exquisite jewelry, Hawaiian feather hatbands, delightful pillows, etched or mouth-blown glass, gallery-quality woodturning, inlaid pens, incredible t-shirts, and a world of other expertly handcrafted gifts. With over 400 vendors and 60 food vendors it will be easy to find the perfect Hawaiian gift.
The expo will be held this weekend at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall: Friday, Nov 26 @ 5pm-10pm; Saturday, Nov 27 @ 10am-10pm; Sunday, Nov 28 @ 10am-5pm. Children under 12 get in free, adults pay $4, seniors and military servicemen pay $2.
Shoppers can enjoy continuous live entertainment by Hawaiian talents in song, dance, and other performance arts. Over the three-day expo, prize drawings will be held for cash, three Sony high definition television sets, and 20 honey-glazed hams. A total of $10,000.00 will be given away with a $100 winner announced every 15 minutes.
