Scottsdale Designers Strut their Stuff at Fashion Week
Wear your finest designer duds and your least comfortable pair of shoes to the 2010 Scottsdale Fashion Week November 4-6.
In its fifth year, the event celebrates fashion, lifestyle and beauty. It’s a fashionistas dream where up-and-coming trendsetters, alongside nationally and internationally renowned names, show their fabulous collections. Fashion icons like Kevan Hall, Luca Luca, Ted Baker and Lloyd Klein, as well as an impressive retailer line up from Scottsdale Fashion Square, will grace the runway with their vibrant and fashion forward creations.
The fun kicks off on Thursday, November 4 with Community Night where they capitalize on our amazing sunsets and star-drenched skies as the inspiration for local fashion. The night will be filled with fabulous hair styles and accessory and fashion shows from local professionals and students.
That same evening, the Scottsdale Wearable ArtWalk takes place from 7-9 pm. Hosted by the Scottsdale Gallery Association, this is my favorite event where one-of-a-kind fashions parade throughout downtown Scottsdale.
The real fun takes place on Friday, November 5 and Saturday, November 6 with ten fashion shows each night on the Main Stage, an 80-foot runway and the Collins College Open Runway.
