Houston Wine Conference

Wine lovers rejoice! Another fabulous wine event is coming to Houston in November; the 2nd annual Houston Wine Conference is November 21, 2010 at the Four Seasons Hotel. The conference’s agenda is “An Education in Wine, Food and Entertaining” and features a full day of wine tasting, food pairings and education with wine experts and local chefs.

The day begins with an 11:30 AM registration period and tasting begins at noon with sparkling wines; white wine tasting begins at 1:15 PM, red wines at 2:30 PM, and dessert wines at 3:45 PM. Closing remarks are at 4:45 PM with a reception to follow at 5 PM. In between tasting sessions there are 15-minute breaks with drinks and sorbets served in the foyer.

Local food and wine experts Chef David Grossman and sommelier Evan Turner (of Branch Water Tavern) will bring their experience to the table, literally and figuratively, for the benefit of Wine Conference attendees.
