Disney Fantasy Accepting Reservations

Even though the newest cruise ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, Disney Dream, has yet to sail, reservations are now being accepted for the newest addition to the line, Disney Fantasy.

Designed to reflect the golden age of travel, the 1930′s themed Disney Fantasy will have its inaugural sailing on April 7, 2012.  Sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida, Fantasy will offer seven-night Caribbean cruises alternating between Eastern  and Western itineraries.

Eastern cruises will offer the ports of St. Thomas and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands and St. Maarten, while the Western cruise ports will include Grand Cayman in the British West Indies and Cozumel.  All cruises will include a stop at Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

Sister ship to the Disney Dream, the 128,000 ton Disney Fantasy will feature an AquaDuck water coaster, magical port holes that offer real-time views of the ocean, artwork that comes to “life”, as well as children’s areas and immersive experiences for all ages.

Offering such industy firsts as split bathrooms, Fantasy is perfect for family travel.  Youth clubs offer recreation and outlets for younger guests, while activity centers for tweens and teens will keep boredom from setting in.  Not to forget mom and dad, adults only swimming pool, dining options and a luxurious spa exists.

In addition to scheduling 2012 cruises on Disney Fantasy, bookings are also being accepted on the three other Disney cruise ships, the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Dream.
