Biltmore Keeps Reeling Them In

Movies in the park, picnicsWhere else can you see a Roman Polanski classic, Ann Margaret strut her stuff and Cary Grant in a Hitchcock favorite?  For movie lovers, Movies in the Park at The Biltmore Fashion Park on Camelback Road in Phoenix is a relaxing way to see a classic movie under the stars.

Bring your blanket, relax on your lawn chair and bring your cooler of snacks.  Sitting outdoors is why we all love living in the Valley.

A popular event for Valley residents, you might want to try and arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. to get the best spot on the Central lawn.  It’s a great night out for adults, but many of these classics are just as entertaining and appropriate for kids.  All movies are shown in the original unedited versions.

If you just can’t leave Fido at home, moviegoers are welcome to bring their pets, and the Arizona Humane Society is on site each week.

The movies are scheduled on Fridays through mid-December.

October 15 – The Seven Year Itch
October 22 – Chinatown
October 29 – Young Frankenstein
November 5 – Bye Bye Birdie
November 12 – North by Northwest
November 19 – The Great Gatsby
November 26 – no movie
December 3 – American Graffiti
December 10 – Holiday Inn
December 17 – Scrooged

Movies in the Park are complimentary.  Seating is first come, first serve and several of the restaurants in the center provide to-go service to make your picnic special.  Alcoholic beverages are not permitted and glass containers are strongly discouraged.
