Woody, Buzz Lightyear & the Toy Story Gang Skate into DC

Join Woody, the pull-string cowboy along with space ranger Buzz Lightyear, the yodeling cowgirl Jessie and the rest of the Toy Story gang for an evening of fun on ice at the all new Disney On Ice presents Toy Story 3.

The Toy Story gang, including Slinky Dog, Rexx the dinosaur, Barbie and Hamm the pig all join in the adventure with Woody and Buzz that first brings the audience up to speed with fun moments from the first Disney on Ice - Toy Story 3two Toy Story movies, then leads the gang of toys on their third adventure as they end up at the Sunnyside Daycare Center.

Their new adventure is to get home safely to Andy’s house after they were accidentally donated to a daycare center that’s home to mean toys and even meaner children.  It’s sure to be an exciting and icy spectacular of Pixar and Disney fun.

The cast of world-class ice skaters are enhanced by an award-winning creative team that developed state-of-the-art 3D technology and projection designs that uses the entire surface of the ice to alter the audience’s perception of scale.  Adults and children virtually shrink in size as Andy’s bedroom is transformed from full-size to toy-size.  One highlight along their journey happens when the group’s trip to Pizza Planet results in an amazing encounter with a pinball machine of monumental proportion as the massive playing surface is projected over the entire ice rink.

The Toy Story series started in 1995, with the first Disney/Pixar computer-animated family film and has led to 2 additional films, following the same cast of toys as their owner Andy, grows up from a young boy to college-aged.

Besides the Disney on Ice production, Toy Story has inspired multiple attractions and rides at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, an animated television series featuring Buzz Lightyear and dozens of children’s toys.

Disney on Ice has been producing Disney-themed ice shows featuring some of the most beloved Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Snow White, Pinocchio, and other Disney and fairytale characters for close to 30 years.
