Free Open Day at the Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House welcomes many guests each day through its guided tours and concerts, but these activities are often out of the price range of the average local or visitor to Sydney. If you’ve always wanted to explore the Sydney Opera House, make sure you attend the Free Family Fun Day out on October 24.

This event was very popular last year with more than 55, 000 people exploring the concert hall, backstage corridors, and dressing rooms of this internationally acclaimed venue. That means you’ll need to register your place to ensure you don’t miss out.

The fun will continue outside too, with roaming performers, an interactive drumming display, and a sausage sizzle for lunch.

Registering for the event doesn’t just secure your place; it also gives you discount coupons and entry into the draw for an incredible prize. If you’re the lucky winner you’ll receive a family pass to the world premiere of Le Grand Cirque Adrenaline, a night in a premium hotel, dinner and drinks at one of Sydney’s finest restaurants, and an Insider membership to the Sydney Opera House. That’s a lot of swag!

The prizes keep on coming though. Anyone who uses this link to tell a friend about the Open Day will enter the draw for an opera high tea for two, a family pass to the world premiere of Le Grand Cirque Adrenaline, and an Insider membership to the Sydney Opera House.

That sounds impressive, but it’s nothing compared to the big prize offered on the day. Just by being there you could win a $1000 NAB bank account, a season pass to Kids at the House, a family pass to the world premiere of Le Grand Cirque Adrenaline, and an Insider membership to the Sydney Opera House, and an Essential tour family pass. There’s also another prize for the runner up, and the folks from NAB will be there on the day to hand out more prizes with their Lucky Star wheel.

You probably don’t want to go for the prizes as discovering the Sydney Opera House is pretty exciting in its own right, but they certainly help to sweeten the deal!
