Visit Beautiful Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital city, is a large  metropolis known as “the Paris of the South”, with wide avenues and boulevards, beautiful buildings designed by French and Italian architects, and the rich European heritage of the “porteños”, as the natives of Buenos Aires are called. Although nowadays, the city’s frantic way of life may be compared with that of New York.

Buenos Aires is a stylish and seductive port city, where you will find everything you need to have a great time. Rich in museums and theaters, with lots of cultural events happening all around. If you are in the mood for shopping you won’t be disappointed. It is an very enjoyable city to wonder about, stopping for a delicious ice-cream at any of the many parks, or just soaking up the unique atmosphere of the busy streets. It has a frenzied nightlife that makes it one of the world´s great round-the-clock cities.

Porteños are intensely involved with the life and culture of their city, and will gladly share the many secrets that Buenos Aires possesses. They are very friendly and regard a good night out as a God-given right.

Buenos Aires is the birthplace and the world capital of the Tango, a rhythm that was created by the banks of the Rio de la Plata at the end of the 19th century, as a fusion of European and local music. The city is full of venues that feature live tango orchestras and dancers. The most important places that offer live shows usually include dinner. You may also go to the milongas, places where you dance tango, or take classes.

Buenos Aires is also Argentina’s  gastronomic centerpiece with a varied cuisine. “Asado” (grilled meat cuts) accompanied with a glass of red wine is one of the most famous of Argentine exquisite dishes, and a must try.

In Buenos Aires, you will experience a combination of sights, sounds and smells that you will never forget. Such an exciting, charming and fascinating place is definitely worth visiting, and the dollars/pounds/euros that you bring will go a very long way.
