What’s better than getting pampered with a spa treatment? How about getting one for $50. 
This is your lucky weekend, marking the annual Spa Week in Chicago. Now through September 19, get select spa treatments (massages, facial, body treatments and more) for $50 at nearly two dozen Chicago area spas and salons.
A sample of participating spas and salons include:
Amber Spa (2040 W. Webster Avenue; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 60 minute Swedish Massage and 60 Minute Herbal Body Wrap.
Clarins Skin Spa at Nordstrom (55 E. Grand; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 60 Minutes Clarins Signature Facial.
Joseph Michaels Salon & Spa (1313 N. Ritchie; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 45 Minute Lomi Lomi Massage and a 45 Minute Microcurrent Turbo-Lift Facial.
Kohler Waters Spa (775 Village Center Drive; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 50 Minute Classic Facial and a 50 Minute Neat Feet Pedicure.
Michael Anthony Salon & Spa (1001 W. North Avenue; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 60 Minute Elemental Nature Massage.
Red Door Spa – Chicago (919 N. Michigan Avenue; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 50 Minute Facial and a 50 Minute Pedicure.
The Peninsula Spa Chicago by ESPA (108 E. Superior Street; map) – Spa Week treatments include a 60 Minute Pedicure.
About Spa Week
The Spa Week concept is designed to bring the spa experience to the masses. The philosophy is simple: full-service treatments that normally cost from $100 to $200 are just $50. Not bad, huh? As Spa Week’s creator Cheryl Reid says. “No longer [are spas] relegated to the wealthy.”
Spa Week had a humble beginning, with a mere 25 spas participating in New York. Now Spa Week is offered in over 29 U.S. with over 700 participating spas.
How to Get the Deals
To get access to Spa Week’s deals, you have to register at Spa Week’s Web site. (Registration is free.) Choose Chicago as your city to see a list of participating spas and the treatments they offer. Once you see a treatment you want, call the spa directly to make your reservation.
