Try Your Luck to Win a Trip in the South
Today is your day.
Today is your day to win a trip in the South.
But you can’t win if you don’t enter. All it takes is one entry (with maybe some photos and a quick paragraph) and you just might be the winner.
Come on, you have nothing to lose.
- Through September 28, you have a chance to become a Texas Lone Star. All you need to do is tell Texas Tourism in 300 words or less why you deserve to be “star,” choose the “star” (such as food or sports; itineraries are provided for review) you are and upload a picture reflecting your “star” type. If chosen, you and a guest will enjoy a five-day vacation in the Lone Star state. In addition, you’ll be documenting your adventure via photos and social media for everyone to enjoy.
- The “Show Me” State wants you to show them your photos. The state of Missouri is encouraging photographers to enter their best images taken in the state (can be anything) for a chance to win a St. Louis weekend package. Upload all of your images (no limit) by September 30. Voting takes place October 1-15, and the winner will be announced on October 31.
- Enter to win a trip to Nashville, Tenn. with either the WSM 85th anniversary concert with Don Williams (ends September 30) or Tootsie’s 50th Anniversary Celebration (ends October 1), or both. And don’t forget the Peace, Love, Flamingo. Sweepstakes ends September 30.
- Have you “liked” Rosemary Beach, Fla. on Facebook yet? You need to, so you can be entered to win a weekend getaway for the area’s Uncorked event October 23.
- Who says all of the fun is done when summer is over? Not Savannah, Ga. Through September 30, you can enter to win their End of the Sweepstakes. The prize pack includes a two night stay at Planters Inn (map), a Paula Deen gift basket and more.
And don’t forget about these contests, either!
