Find a Deal for Travel Throughout the South
Want to get away this weekend or next? 
Deals for travel throughout the South are everywhere, you just need to know where to look.
To make it a little easier for you, here’s a few deals worth considering.
Texas
- Planning to attend Texas State Fair, September 24-October 17, but don’t know where to stay yet. Don’t worry, because there are many deals in the area available. Palomar Dallas (map) is offering the Big Tex Bargain package. Both Fairfield Inn by Marriott DFW Airport North (map) and Sheraton Dallas (map) are offering a special rate for fair-goers as well. The Renaissance Dallas/Richardson (map) has a state fair package that includes two adult fair tickets and two adult DART rail passes.
Louisiana
- Through December 30, Loews New Orleans (map) is offering a package highlighting The National World War II Museum (map). The package includes two tickets to the museum and complimentary valet hotel parking.
Florida
- Thinking about taking a trip to Jacksonville this fall? If so, check out their Awesome Autumn Sale, September 15-22. Deals available include stay two nights and get free breakfast at Four Points by Sheraton Baymeadows (map), or stay two or more nights at Quality Suites Oceanfront (map) in Jacksonville Beach and save 33 percent off the rate.
- Sometimes it pays to be the oldest, especially at Atlantic Resort & Spa (map) in Fort Lauderdale. Their “Cheers for Years” package offers a food and beverage, or spa credit in the amount of the oldest guest in the room per each night of the stay. For example, if you or your guest is 57 years old, that’s a $57 credit. This package is valid through October 25, but must be booked by September 30.
Virginia
- Indulge and spoil yourself (and your significant other or friend as well) with The Jefferson’s (map) wine package, available throughout the month of October. The Richmond based-property wants you to celebrate Virginia Wine Month. This includes a welcome gift of a bottle of Virginia’s Montdomaine Chardonnay, three-course dinner at Lemaire and much more.
