15th Annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

The annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival that turns Epcot theme park at Walt Disney World Resort (map) into a food and wine lover’s paradise, is set to take place October 1- November 14.  

Serving up specialty food items, beer and wine from around the world, culinary events, live performers and musical concerts the six week autumn special event will be celebrating its 15th anniversary.Tapas sized tastings from 27 regions and six continents creates an international buffet.  The United States  Pavilion promotes the latest trend of garden to table with this dish of heirloom tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil and Oregon bleu cheese.

Marketplace food booths bring back many crowd pleasing favorites as well as the new world tastes of  South Korea and Belgium, with fresh baked waffles and berry compote, appearing for the first time this year.

Live entertainment, culinary demonstrations and beverage tastings are scattered throughout the festival.  While some special festival experiences require advance reservations, many features are part of the Epcot admission, or are available for a small additional fee.

Eat to the Beat Concerts take place on weekend nights and allow festival guests to unwind while enjoying celebrated acts.  Taylor Dane, Billy Ocean, Kool and the Gang and Sister Hazel are some of the entertainers scheduled to perform three times nightly.
