Top 5 Happy Hours in West Palm Beach
You’ve put in all the hours you can for the day, and all that you can think of is how you are going to relax — a gin martini, a bottle of your favorite beer or what about going out for a plate of comfort food? During happy hour, things just got happier as restaurants are offering some deals that seem like they’d come from the 1980′s. Here are a list of our favorites for the West Palm Beach area.

Smoked Salmon Pizza at Mortons
3101 PGA Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens ().
Hours: Monday-Friday from 3 p.m. until 7 pm and again from 9 pm until close. Whoever came up with Brio’s Tuscan Taster menu made some good friends and regular customers for Brio. For $2.95, guests can fill up on food that costs less than their favorite cocktail — and the selection is impressive in both quality and size. Highlights on the Tuscan Taster Menu include the Brio Burger, a quartet of Brio’s famous Bistecca Burgers with provolone and house made chips; Spicy Shrimp & Eggplant, Pan-seared shrimp with Romano crusted eggplant and a black pepper cream sauce; and Margherita Flatbread.
123 US Hwy 1 in North Palm Beach ().
Happy Hour takes place from 5-7 pm in the bar area. Entre Nous is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive up to North Palm Beach. Located on US 1, just south of Northlake Blvd, this family owned New American Bistro offers creative fare with an exceptional $5 bar menu, featuring gourmet menu items. A trip would not be complete without an order of the Crispy Potato Skins ($5) with prosciutto, goat cheese and white truffle oil. Other recommendations include the Tuna Tower with yellowfin tuna, sushi rice, sweet soy & wasabi aioli; Porcini Crusted Medallions served with whipped potatoes; or even the Park Avenue Salad with seasonal greens, spiced pecans, julienne apples, crumbled gorgonzola and drizzled with champagne vinaigrette.

McCormick & Schmick’s651 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach
Happy Hour is available Monday-Friday from 3:30-6:30 pm and requires a $3.50 minimum beverage purchase. McCormick & Schmick’s was a welcome addition to CityPlace earlier this year. With fresh seafood arriving daily and a lively bar scene, it quickly became a regular stop for locals and visitors alike. That might just have to do with their fabulous Happy Hour Menu. Prices for food items start at just $1.95. The $1.95 menu includes such favorites as Bruschetta, Hummus, Pita Pizza and Queso Fresco with corn chips. If you are willing to splurge a little, you will certainly enjoy the Baja Fish Tacos ($2.95), the Half Pound Cheeseburger ($3.95), Shrimp Quesadillas ($3.95), Sushi Rolls ($4.95) or a variety of other enticing dishes. There are a few drink specials here, but the food is what really shines.

Happy Hour is available from open until close in the bar area. While a visit to Morton’s can put a huge dent in your last paycheck, a visit does not need to ruin your budget if you plan it right. Instead of indulging in a juicy steak in the main dining room, why not take part in their Power Hour, available from open until close? Both food and drink specials will have you smiling — $5 for beer (Sam Adams, Budweiser or Bud Light), $6 for house wine, and $7 for select martinis and cocktails. To coat your stomach, you’ll want to nibble on some bar bites. We highly suggest the Mini Crab Cake BLT’s, the Smoked Salmon Pizza or the 3 Prime Cheeseburgers — all priced at $6.

The Happy Hour (or rather Happy Evening) menu is available everyday from 5-10 pm. Happy Hour doesn’t just have to be an hour or two. Why not make it all night long? That’s The Palm Beach Steakhouse’s philosophy, as they present their Happy Evening menu — all for $5. The Palm Beach Steakhouse features typical menu items that you’d expect to find in a steakhouse, along with some Greek specialties. We’ve tasted our way through the menu and have found the Grilled Cheese Deluxe, the Gyro Sandwich with lamb and beef and the Mediterranean Combo with hummus, tzatziki and stuffed grape leaves worth a trip across the bridge. House wine, cocktails and martinis are all available for $5. If your choice is an ice cold beer, you will save $1.
