Tantalize Your Taste Buds during Arizona Restaurant Week

Fall is foodie season in Arizona and our most renowned chefs are ready to tempt your taste buds with a full menu of culinary masterpieces during Arizona Restaurant Week – September 18-26. From three-course meals at enticing prices to fine dining at an intimate chef’s table under the stars, this season’s offerings are sure to please everyone.

Arizona Restaurant Week was developed to showcase the outstanding culinary scene throughout our state. A huge success since its inception in 2008, Arizona Restaurant Week will include more than 150 restaurants from both the Phoenix Metro and Tucson markets.

Each restaurant will offer a three-course dinner menu of signature dishes for $19, $29 or $39 per person, excluding beverages, tax and gratuity. New this year is the inclusion of Gluten-Free options. Restaurants with an icon of a “G” inside a circle with a line through the center specify those restaurants compliant with Gluten Free Absolutely!, the standards of cooking/serving gluten free.

To get a better idea of what the participating restaurants serve, I like the new Foodies Like Us blog.  It’s a great resource where a “professional foodie” shares his/her views on the menu, service and location.  They really know great food and their insight will guide you to pick the best spot for you and your dining guests.  Here are the lists of participating restaurants for both Phoenix and Tucson:

I’ve participated in previous years and I strongly suggest making reservations in advance.  This has become a very popular event causing the restaurants to fill up quickly.  To make a reservation, contact the restaurant directly. As the temperatures start to cool down, taking advantage of some of these amazing restaurants is the perfect way to celebrate with friends.  You’ll be amazed at the great deals that they will offer and you’ll really begin to understand why the culinary scene in Arizona is receiving national acclaim.
