Yoga Retreat at the Elysian Hotel

The Elysian hotel in Chicago is adding a dose of Hollywood glamour to its urban oasis. The new luxury hotel is partnering with celebrity yoga instructor Mandy Ingber to host a restorative three-day/two-night Yoga Retreat Weekend September 10 – 12 at the hotel.

Ingber will teach the same wellness principles and yoga poses that have made her Hollywood classes fiercely popular, especially among well-toned stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Brooke Shields, and Helen Hunt who credited Ingber on the red carpet with getting her body “Oscar-ready.”  Other clients have included Ricki Lake, Woody Harrelson, and jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer.

F.Y.I.: Ingber recently introduced Yogolosphy, “a DVD that captures her light-hearted approach and unique teaching style, developed over 15 years of leading sold-out classes.”

Ingber has been named “Best of LA” in LA Weekly and Los Angeles magazine for the “motivation, inspiration, and the popularity of her classes.”

The Yoga Retreat Weekend at the Elysian Hotel will include  three yoga sessions, “smoothie breaks,” and an afternoon spa treatment. Rates start at $1,445 and also include accommodations for two nights, an in-room welcome amenity, keepsake Lululemon yoga mat, lunch, and a Q&A session with Ingber.

Insider Tip: One of the Elysian Hotel’s best features is its 14,000-square-foot Spa & Health Club that includes a Pilates and Gyrotonic studio (one of only two in Chicago) and cardiovascular and weight training equipment. The Elysian Spa & Health Club also has a saline lap pool, 12 treatment rooms, an outdoor terrace, and Gentlemen’s and Women’s relaxation areas with warm water baths, saunas, and steam rooms.

For more information, contact the Elysian at 312-646-1329 or visit their Web site. The Elysian is located at 11 East Walton (map).
