Grab a Hot Dog
India is not known for its hot dogs and there aren’t many places that sell them. Though there are several American food chains in New Delhi, none seem to have a Hot Dog in their menu. I figured out why though. Don’t fret, the American Diner is having a hot dog festival.
Hot Dog Festival at the American Diner
The American Diner in Delhi is having a hot dog festival, which might just make you think you’re in New York. The menu boasts of a large variety of hot dogs, including Hot Weiner Dog, Chicago Style Dog, Alabama Dog, Blackened Cottage Cheese Dog, and Veg Chargrilled Dog. They have meals sized for every type of belly. A plate of four hot dogs will set you back Rs. 425 ($10).
Even if you don’t enjoy hot dogs, the American Diner has loads to offer. I especially love the all-American breakfast they serve. It is truly fattening, but a great start to the day. They also have outside seating which is very pleasant in the winters. Lastly, if you’ve grown up reading the Archies comics, then this diner will make you nostalgic with it interior décor.
