See the Full Monty at Village Theater
Based on the award winning and critically acclaimed movie of the same name, The Full Monty chronicles six men’s journey from unemployment, depression, and isolation, through a bold and creative plan to become employed, get out of debt, and patch up the damage done to their various relationships.
Sound depressing? Think again! The bold and creative plan is to put together a male striptease act (ala Chippendale dancers), despite the fact that they are all out of shape and can’t dance. But they discover that they can overcome those obstacles, and make the big bucks, if they go for the “Full Monty” — total nudity.
Will they or won’t they? How can they make sure that their families don’t find out? And what do they learn along the way? You’ll have to be in the audience to find out.
The musical is fun, witty, with a little bit of social commentary throw in, and promises to be a rollicking good time.
It will be shown in the Village Theatre’s Issaquah and Everett location. Season tickets are on sale now, and individual tickets for The Full Monty go on sale soon.
