Adult Comedy Play – Run From Your Wife!

Run from your wife is acclaimed comedy that ran for over six years in London. This master piece created  by Ray Cooney is about one man, who has two wives and quite a bit of multi-tasking to do. Dramatech is bringing an adapted version of this play, aptly called Run From Your Wife, to Delhi. The direction is by Renu Chopra.

Similar to Ray Cooney’s version, this play has two wives. O ne in Malviya Nagar and another in Kalkaji. The juggling is done by Delhi tourist cab operator. Everything goes smooth, until one day he gets into an accident and ends up in hospital. The cops, neighbors and wives come into play and all hell breaks loose. You’ll have to watch the play for the entire plot.

About Ray Cooney

Ray Cooney was born in May, 1932. Apart from Run From Your Wife, Raymond Cooney has created several other successful play, such as Caught in the Net (2001),   Tom, Dick And Harry (2003), and Time’s Up (2005). However, Run From Your Wife is by far his most successful creation.

About Dramatech

Dramatech is a 25-year old group formed by a few alumni of IIT Delhi. It has nearly 80 members, who are either working in leading companies like HP, KPMG, Pepsico, IAS, etc. or studying in colleges like JMC and LSR.

They have performed the works of Tennessee Williams, Neil Simon, Peter Shaffer, Vijay Tendulkar and Shanker Shesh, among others. The group also has a reputation for nurturing talent, considering that its 30 plays have been directed by 15 persons.
