MUMU Grill in Crows Nest, Sydney’s Only Sustainable Steakhouse
Lately I’ve been on a bit of an ethical eating kick. I’m far too much of a meat lover to ever consider becoming a vegetarian, but I won’t eat anything but free range eggs, chicken, or pork. My latest crusade has been against grain-fed beef. The idea of cows eating grain just goes against nature, so I’m working hard to source out grass-fed cattle.
MUMU Grill in Crows Nest is one steakhouse who hears my plea. Its emphasis on sustainable and organic produce is music to my ears. That means the meals don’t just taste better, they’re better for the environment too. Your waistline will thank you too. Grass-fed meat is lower in saturated fats, cholesterol, and calories without compromising on taste.
But there’s much more than steak on the menu. Organic chicken, tasty ribs and fresh fish are some of the other delicious options on offer.
MUMU boasts the largest alfresco area in Crows Nest, but with this chilly weather you may prefer to dine inside. It’s beautiful too, with Grey Ironbark timber columns and enough room for 80 diners.
If you don’t have the time for a meal, why not share a plate of tapas with friends at the bar? There’s also an extensive wine list, a fantastic cocktail menu, and plenty of ice-cold beer.
The relaxed atmosphere makes MUMU Grill a great place to take your whole family.
