Sculpture Exhibition by Khalil Chishtee
When was the last time you witnessed art that projects the need for humans needs to create order in any dimension. The Seven Art Limited Gallery is showcasing the work of an American artist of Pakistani origin, Khalil Chishtee, whose works just brings out that very aspect of humans and humanity. Remove the labels brought by the boundaries of classification and categorization and may be the division in humanity will come to an end.
This is first time Khalil has exhibited his work in India. His work is mainly showcased in the United States and Pakistan. Fortunately the exhibition is being held at one of the best malls in New Delhi. So, even if you don’t enjoy the art, go ahead and treat yourself to good food and an evening devoted to shopping.
Here is a little about Khalil.
About Khalil Chishtee
The artist was born in 1964 in Pakistan. He came to the United States to learn advanced techniques in sculpturing using bronze and ceramics. Consequently, he has a Masters in Arts from California State University. He’s had several exhibitions in the United States. Some of them have been: Art of Dummies and Drop Your Draws. As he is of Pakistani origin, he has significant commonissioned works in Pakistan, including the sculptures at the Sozo Water Park and Palace in Sahiwal.
