Seeing Lisbon from a different perspective

The gorgeous yellow tram that goes up and down Lisbon’s hills has been jealous with the new neighbours passing by that tourist have been choosing.

Even for those who live in the city, these new ways to visit it has been full of surprises.

Here’s a small introduction to two companies and different ways of knowing Lisbon that I will be covering deeply the next few days:

Go Car Tours

These yellow small three wheel cars, so famous in San Francisco, Miami, San Diego and now also in Barcelona, have turned into a huge success in Lisbon. You can see them everywhere, from Belém (map) to Baixa, in the city centre. They seem to be specially made for us in Lisbon, convertible and small enough to go into the narrows streets of the old part of town. Red Tour GPS

Other ways of transportation that have been busy lately are presented by Red Tours GPS. It’s fairly simple – first you choose your tour, then… you choose your way of transportation – Segway, Electric Buggy or Electric Bicycles. You then follow a GPS Audio Guide through Lisbon at your own pace.
