National Ice Cream Month President Reagan was known for his love of jellybeans, and yet he set his sweet tooth’s bias aside and selflessly decreed that July shall henceforth be known as National Ice Cream Month. If that isn’t enough reason to convince you to dig into a heaping bowl of chilly goodness, check out my article 3 Ways to Celebrate National Ice Cream Month in Dallas for even more reasons to indulge.
Dallas Summer Boat Show and Sale The annual Dallas Summer Boat Show and Sale takes place at Dallas Market Hall, 2200, Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207 (map). It’s a bird… It’s a plane…It’s Superman! is still flying high at the Wyly Theatre, 2400 Flora Street, Dallas, TX (map) but only until July 25th. Rumors have it that this “revisal” of the original 1966 Broadway musical may be headed back to the Great White Way. Check out my enthusiastic review of It’s a bird…It’s a plane…It’s Superman! for more information.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast This musical is playing at the Winspear Opera House, 2403 Flora St. Dallas, TX (map) until July 25th. The stage adaptation of that classic fairy tale makes a great introduction to musical theater for kids. Read my full review of Beauty and the Beast for more information.
