Sydney Photo Friday: Luminary Street Parade in Parramatta

I must admit, the Luminary celebrations in Parramatta passed me by. Thank goodness for fun photos like this to clue me in! This shot was taken at the opening night parade, which saw illuminated figures like this possum making their way down Church and George Streets. Luminary was a five-night event which kicked off the city’s ParraMac festival, which remember the contributions of Governor Lachlan Macquarie.
