Carrie Underwood – Wednesday October 6, 2010

Pop/country sweetheart of American Idol fame – and new bride – Carrie Underwood will  be performing in Houston in October.  Her current tour is called “Play On”, and the show features songs from her album of the same name, including “Cowboy Casanova” and “Undo It”.  Tickets are $35.50, $45.50, and $55.50.  Show time is 7:30 PM with doors opening at 6:30 PM.  Online ticket info/ordering here.

Shakira – Friday October 8 2010

Shakira has international star power, and she’s bringing that star power to Houston for an exciting and energetic live show on October 8, 2010.  The Columbian singer/songwriter/dancer/producer is touring to promote her “She Wolf” album, but she’s been performing music from her entire catalogue so you’re bound to hear some of your older favorites as well.  Tickets are available for as low as $39.50, but range up to $149.50.  Online ticket info/ordering here.  Showtime is at 8 PM, doors open at 7 PM.

Cirque du Soleil Alegria

“Alegria” was recently playing out in Cypress, but it returns to the Houston area in November, this time to the Toyota Center.  You can catch any of nine performances between Wednesday November 10 through Sunday November 14, with ticket prices ranging from $44-$99.  Online ticket ordering/info here.
