Different Ice Cream at Baixa
Since 2005 Fragoleto has set very different standards from most of the other industrial ice cream shops. They combine the Italian ice cream tradition with innovation. Plus they only use top quality fresh ingredients. Colorants and preservatives are not used on any of their products. This has made this Ice cream shop, located right in the centre of Lisbon, at Rua da Prata (map), to gain recognition as a gourmet shop. It has already been considered one of the best in Europe.
Fragoleto has improved their selection, adding a new line of products of flowers and aromatic herbs ice creams. To the classic green tea with mint, they are now serving too strawberry lavender ice cream and lemon basil ice cream, among many others.
This is a truly game to the senses. I haven’t tried them yet, but will get back to you as soon as I do.
