Hot Happenings: Week of July 6

We have an exciting line up of events this week. There is no excuse to sit out with nothing to do. From South Beach to Palm Beach, we have you covered.

Thursday, July 8: Nothing beats a good girl’s night out and this week the place to be is at the Delray Beach Marriott for Just Us Girls sponsored by WRMF — a benefit for the Susan G Komen of South Florida. Guests will enjoy  food, music, dancing, entertainment, a fashion show at 8 pm and a line-up of vendors of a girl could want. Cost is $10 and the event takes place from 6-10 pm. It looks like there is a free ticket on their site, so just click and print and you’re all set to go. The Delray Beach Marriott is located at 10 N Ocean Blvd, Delray Beach

Friday, July 9: When you find yourself on Las Olas at 5:30 on a Friday, head over to SoLita Restaurant & Ultra Lounge. Every week SoLita will feed you complimentary hors d’oeuvres including their famous meatballs from 5:30-7:30 pm, offer a BOGO offer on all premium brands, offer free valet and entertain you with live music by Chenzo Balsamo. Saturday, July 10: It’s Bastille Day on Clematis Street. Make your way down to downtown West Palm Beach for this party celebrating everything French. This free event will last until the wee hours of the night and includes live music, street performers, drink samplings, wine tastings, art exhibits, cooking demos and more. Local restaurants will be offering special prix-fixe menus to help you absorb some of your favorite free flowing liquid beverages. This event starts at 4pm and will take place at the West Palm Beach Waterfront Park and on Clematis Street between Lantana and Narcissus.

Saturday, July 10: Spend you Saturday in style at The Biltmore in Coral Gables. Top Chef alum Andrea Randazzo and husband Frank of Talula and now The Water Club will be hosting an interactive culinary demonstration. This Champagne Roederer will take place in the Granada Ballroom and showcase the flavors of the Caribbean, Asia, Italy on the Americas. Enjoy this all while you sip on a glass of bubbly, thanks to Champagne Roederer.  The luncheon starts at 12pm and costs $52 for Biltmore club members, or $65 for resort guests.
