A Day for Cyclists at the Tour de Delta
If you’re a cycling enthusiast you may want to take in the annual Tour de Delta cycling race July 9 – 11. The Tour de Delta’s inaugural event was in 2001 with more than 200 cyclists from across Canada, US and New Zealand. Since then it has been come a popular and successful participation and spectator event offering the largest prize purse in Canadian cycling at up to $25,000 in prize money.
This exciting event kicks off July 9 – 11 and will end with the Tour de White Rock July 16 – 18 for six great races in all.
Starting line is at 84th Ave. and 114th St. in North Delta at 6.30 pm Friday July 9. There will be a Team Coastal BBQ from 5 – 8 and Kids Crit at 4.30 pm (details to be announced).
