Thriller Weekend for Jackson Fans
Fans of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, will not want to miss a golden opportunity to share in some of the thrilling activities taking place this weekend at Epcot in Walt Disney World Resort (map).
Beginning July 2, Captain EO makes it’s return to the Resort. Housed in the sidelined “Honey, I Shrunk the Audience” attraction, the musical 3-D spectacular will once again thrill fans and allow many Epcot guests a first-time viewing.
Jackson fans are in for an extra dose of thrills – through July 3, Karin Lawson will be performing cover songs by Michael’s sister, Janet Jackson as part of the Sounds Like Summer concert series. The performances are held three times nightly, 5:45, 7:00 and 8:15 at the American Garden Theatre. The shows are included in the admission ticket to Epcot theme park (map).
As if this wasn’t exciting enough, Disney World Resort will be hosting numerous themed fireworks shows to celebrate the special holiday weekend of July 4th.
With all this Jackson excitement in the air, I bet Mickey won’t be the only one wearing white gloves.
