Friday, July 2: Morton’s just launched 9 new menu items and I’m going to taste test later this week so I can report back. But for now, a trip to Morton’s should be in the works. Additions to their incredible 1221 Power Hour bar bite menu include Crab Cake BLTs and Smoked Salmon Pizza. Additional items recently added include Blue Cheese Tenderloin Crostinis, a 12-ounce double cut filet, a 16-oz Bone-In Filet, a Chilean Sea Bass with pineapple-pepper salsa, Morton’s Legendary Sundae and more.

Sunday, July 4: The Broward Center for the Performing Arts will offer Sunday Brunch the first Sunday of each month from 10:30 am – 1:45 pm. This will take place in the Einstein Reception Room and in the Peck Courtyard –  with traditional jazz to add to the experience. Guests will enjoy a buffet of traditional brunch specialties like pancakes, waffles, Egg Benedict, a carving station, fruits, yogurts and more. Cost is $19.95 and an additional $5 if you’d like a Bloody Mary or Mimosa.
