If your Dad is into Retro hot rods, race cars or firetrucks, no problem, you can still give him, or even better, build him the ride of his dreams at RIDEMAKERZ in Walt Disney World’s, Downtown Disney Area (map) and at Disneyland’s, Downtown Disney District (map)
RIDEMAKERZ is the first-ever car customizing experience. The ultimate car customizing shop, RIDEMAKERZ allows “customizers” to build one of a kind radio control cars or Ridez. By selecting a certain body-style or color, tires, wheels, lights and sounds, accessories and decals, there are an estimated 649 million possible combinations for your unique car.
Inspired by Build-A-Bear Workshop, RIDEMAKERZ was designed to spark creativity, teamwork and confidence for kids and kids at heart. Keeping it real, agreements were made between several automotive manufacturers to offer versions of some of the most popular cars available in today’s market.
Beside those already listed, customizers can also choose from Ford Mustang and F-250 Super Chief Alternate Fuel Concept Truck and the Dodge Ram or Challenger, cab-over tow and dump trucks and many more. Ridez measure approximately 12 inches long or 1:18 scale and feature the easy assemble or snap-in, snap-on components that do not require glue.
Ridez range in price from $10 to $32, depending on the body and paint style. Radio remote controls can be added for an additional $25, and custom accessories range in price from $2 for grill guards and spoilers to $15 for themed kits.
Adding to the experience at the RIDEMAKERZ’ Orlando shop are world-class show cars on display for a limited time and on a rotating basis.
